My son has been in the Discovery Learning program since kindergarten. He is now entering 7th grade and the changes that have been made in him are phenomenal!
Within one year,
our son went from a kindergarten level of reading to being on his third grade reading level.
My daughter transferred to SCS and its DC Program in middle school. Through this unique program, my daughter has regained confidence in herself and her academic abilities.
My son is severely dyslexic and struggles with attention, but through DC's programs, his scores for the end of year testing have continually improved and he has officially graduated from the program.

The Discovery Center's multi-tiered educational support program includes academic coaching, NILD and Feuerstein educational therapy as well as
multi-level focus classrooms.
All learning supports are based upon Orton-Gillingham Science of
Reading and NILD best practices. Our teachers work from an understanding that mediation is the key to creating curiosity and
engaging learners of all types.
This program aims to empower these students by addressing their specific learning challenges and fostering a supportive environment for personal and academic growth, built on the foundational belief that as
children of God, we are perfectly and wonderfully made.
In order to be considered for placement in the Discovery Center,
a student must submit an educational battery of testing
administered by a psychologist.
